Starting from Domaine Duffau, on the heights of Gaillac, the walk follows numerous wooded paths on easily accessible hills. This is also an opportunity to discover rural heritage closely linked to the history of the Gaillac vineyards: chapel, cemetery, dovecotes, vineyard huts, or farms. Each of these buildings preserves the history of the men and women who shaped this territory.
Take advantage of this loop to pause for a tasting at the Domaine Duffau cellar.
Upon continuing, you will also find Château Balsamine or Domaine Michel Issaly along the route.

Conditions are favorable for viticulture everywhere. The climate combines the best of oceanic and Mediterranean influences. Gaillac is also swept by the beneficial Autan wind, a drying wind that ensures extraordinarily healthy harvests for the winemakers.

Recognized as an AOC since 1938, the Gaillac vineyard is a stronghold of ancient grape varieties. While winemakers everywhere enjoy rediscovering old grape varieties that have sometimes been set aside, our vineyard is among those that have never broken with their history. Our grape varieties define our identity: Mauzac, Loin de l'œil, and Ondenc for whites, Braucol, Duras, and Prunelart for reds.

The range of our wines is dazzling in its profiles and flavors, including fresh white, red, and rosé wines, still and sparkling wines, dry and sweet wines, all united by the same base of grape varieties.
